Academic Writing · Poetry · Public Scholarship

Overview

My writing spans academic scholarship, poetry, and public-facing essays, reflecting a sustained engagement with questions of culture, power, memory, and everyday life. Across genres, I approach writing as a form of critical inquiry—whether through anthropological analysis, poetic expression, or reflective commentary.

My publications include peer-reviewed academic work, book chapters, and monographs, alongside published poetry books that explore personal, political, and social themes through literary form. While these modes of writing differ in style and audience, they are connected by a shared concern with meaning-making, social transformation, and ethical reflection.

This page brings together my published and ongoing work across academic and creative domains. Detailed publication lists are organized below by category, with selected highlights and works in progress included where relevant.

Jatiya Sahitya Prokashoni (জাতীয় সাহিত্য প্রকাশনী), 2010

This poetry collection explores introspection, emotional dislocation, and everyday sensibilities through a reflective and understated poetic voice. Written in Bangla, the book engages with personal experience while resonating with broader social and cultural undercurrents.

রাষ্ট্রের এক্সোডাস ও রুহানি ডিভোর্সের গল্প ০.১
Kashbon Prokashon (কাশবন প্রকাশন), 2025

This poetry volume reflects on political disillusionment, spiritual rupture, and collective memory in contemporary Bangladesh. Blending allegory, historical consciousness, and personal reflection, the book engages with themes of state power, faith, loss, and survival through a distinctly critical poetic lens.
